Famous Pizza in Tiverton

Nice enough people, not very sanitary, saw one of the workers grabbing piles of lettuce and putting it into the containers and he was not wearing gloves at all!!!!!! Then he went and answered the phone. I wouldn't order a salad from there and it's concerning to see what I saw. I did see a few other people wearing gloves. They need to have stricter polices on sanitation.

Always friendly service and great food!

I've only ever tried their pizza. The toppings are good but the dough is undercooked and very thin. I'd compare it to having a grilled cheese. Also girl who answered the phone had an attitude.

The food is very good and the prices are very reasonable. The staff members are friendly. The only negative is that if you watch the staff you will soon realize that wareing gloves while preparing food is clearly optional!

This place used to be great when Bill owned it .I have gave this place a half dozen chances thinking they would get it together. The price of items seem to go up every time and the quality and portion size go down . I will not be visiting this place anymore

They are amazing here. Called them after cancelling an order from another place that still hadn't even left with our food yet after two hours and asked about the wait and explained how we had to wait so long for the other place. She told me on the phone they would get our food right out to us and not even 20 minutes later our food was here. And it's was delicious, as always. I will order from here from now on!!

What happened to this place. Growing up with Billy and Frank running it this place was amazing. Tried it out tonight after not being here in a long time and it went way down hil. Couldn't get the orders right giving out the wrong food to people. Just terrible. Definitely won't ever be coming back here again. Will head to Excellent pizza in Somerset back to the boys who know what they are doing. Such a disgrace change your shirts YOU haven't been serving people the 1972 just sullying the old owners names with how horrible it is now.

I worked here for the original owner Billy, it has recently got a new owner who has kept it the same other than remodeling the lobby which came out really nice. Order fish and chips and for the price you get a massive portion which was perfect! I recommend it to anyone who wants a good meal at a reasonable price! A+

I love the pizza here. Its the best anywhere. I come all the way from Newport RI just to get my pizza. Very delish !

The pizza isn't to die for, but it is still tasty. I was very happy when they were still able to cook four pizzas for a gathering we were having quite quickly. Service was fast, and polite.

I love this love place. Great food low prices friendly people. Big screen TVs. And deliver if needed.

I ordered 2 pizzas with extra cheese . They sent me 2 pizzas with hardly any cheese on them . Charged me for the extra cheese and didn’t put even regular cheese . Would not recommend this place after I order a lot of food from there All the time . Last night was the last time I ever order from them .

Normally as a Tiverton resident, I have only good reviews of this restaurant. When I order pizza, I am so pleased with the food. I tried the scallop dinner tonight and it was a great disappointment. I got 6 scallops, some french fries and and a small anount of coleslaw for $15.00. Six scallops? Really. Never again for me...sorry....but their pizza is well worth the money.

If you haven't been there in awhile...there is new management/owners ..the food/pizzas have greatly improved...very good...one of my favorites is the steak special pizza..it's very good and it satisfies you when you can't make up your mind if you want a grinder or pizza..

All I can say is YUM

Terrible! Don’t waste your money. Can’t even get a simple chicken salad right. Whenever those teeny boppers answer the phone you get a million kinds of attitude and a “duh” kind of tone, I ordered and put it on my card, after giving the employee the info she hangs up without telling me a total or a goodbye! So I called back and got another snarky ignoramous who proceeded to give me attitude because I asked her what my total was! I’m sick of it! Have been going here for years..what a shame!

waited over 1 hour for 2 orders of fish and chips, and while I was waiting I saw orders going out to people they knew, eat in orders, and delivery. all over tips and favouritism. not happy with the way this new owner runs a business. this never happened with Billy and his crew. I ordered at 515pm and left at 645pm still empty handed and frustrated! never again!

Pizza is incredible so many toppings!

I grew up on Famous Pizza. Best pizza there is. I now live 2 towns away but was in town visiting my parents. We ordered from Famous: large pizza, 2 antipasto salads and a lg grinder. It was just about $35.00, I thought that was very reasonably priced. I did hear the resturant is under new ownership, as Billy has retired. I was afraid the food would be different but was pleasantly surprised it taste the same. The inside is in the middle of renovations... honestly as long as the food stays the same I dont care what it looks like! It is comfort food at its best for me!!

Pizza sauce and toppings are great - but - bottom crust is like soft cardboard. Although new mgmt has made significant improvements, pizza dough is not one of them. Either recipe, ingredients or source?

The pizza is quite good, the subs are good but not memorable. During this time of virus awareness, however, they get a big “no, thanks “ from me for the boss man baking the pies, and the expeditor wrapping sandwiches BOTH WITHOUT GLOVES OR MASKS?!I’ll give this place a pass until we all get vaccinated.
